Postdoctoral Fellow Respiratory Immunology / Microbiome

This is an opportunity for a postdoctoral scientist to pursue cutting edge immunology research in a multidisciplinary research environment investigating how the gut microbiome and its metabolites modulate the immune response of alveolar macrophages in vivo and in vitro. We're looking for candidates with wet lab and bioinformatics experience to engage in a project investigating the link between gut microbiome and susceptibility to respiratory infections and chronic lung illnesses. Experience culturing mammalian cells and processing of biological samples is desirable. Intermediate skills using bioinformatic tools to be able to carry RNAseq and metagenomic analyses under supervision would be an advantage.
